• What is the order process?
To make an order, just fill out the Contact form. Share with us as much as possible (location, number of guests, prefered design, flavor preferences) so we can make your story come true.
• How far in advance can I book my wedding cake?
We process the orders on a “First come first serve” basis so we strongly suggest if you already have an order in mind, place it as soon as possible. For a wedding order we recommend booking at least 4-6 months before the wedding.
• Do you offer dessert tables?
Yes! We have a whole collection of delicious cone pops, ice cream flowers, cupcakes, doughnuts and pies.
• Do you offer a tasting consultation or sampling?
Of course. To book an appointment please contact us by email.
• Do you offer individual or group cake workshops?
Yes! Organised workshops are updated on our Instagram (@gromlea) and Facebook page (@storiesbylea). Check it out, there might be something interesting for you in place!
• How much will my dream cake cost?
Since every cake is personalised, there can be no standardised cost. Therefore the pricing of each cake is only per order-basis.
• I have a photo of a cake I like, can you copy it?
We respect other cake decorators work and do not copy cake designs. We welcome you to bring photos as an inspiration, however, if you already have a cake design in mind from a specific baker, we strongly suggest you contact them directly as they will be the only one who can fulfil your wish.
• I am vegan, but I love cakes - what now?
No worries! We offer gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free and vegan cakes. However, all our cakes are produced in premises where we also use nuts, peanuts, milk, eggs, soya, wheat (gluten). Contact us for more information.
• Do you deliver and set up the cake?
We deliver wedding cakes of all sizes across Slovenia. Cake delivery starts from 5 EUR and is calculated based on the distance from our workspace. While the cake is delivered ready-assembled should you require further set-up services (such as additional cake decoration, dessert table set-ups) we offer them starting from 50 EUR.
• Can you create special, customized flavors?
Yes, but to keep costs in line, we always like to start by presenting standard cake flavors readymade to choose from. However, we encourage you to think beyond the flavors presented during a tasting. We might start with a wedding cake menu, you can always switch up the flavor of the cake and pair it with a different filling. And if you don’t see your favorite favor, just ask. Chances are we can make it for your big day.
